Welcome to St. Mary’s! My name is Matthew Ryan, and I teach 8th grade homeroom classes and English in the middle school. I hold a Masters degree in Education from Western New Mexico University (2010) and received a double Bachelors in Theology and Catechetics, as well as a minor in English from Franciscan University of Steubenville, OH (2007).
I grew up in Los Angeles, CA, but taught for four years after college in Gallup, NM. I am happily married and currently have a son who was just recently born in July 2011. On my free time I love to read, write, play racquetball, practice guitar, try new board games, or go for walks. I am a devout Roman Catholic who loves our Lord and His Church, and I will be praying for all of the families here at St. Mary School. May God bless you all!
