RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR ADULTS
Are you interested in becoming a member of the Catholic Church? Are you Catholic, but need to complete your preparation for certain sacraments? We invite you to join our RCIA group!
Classes for adults and older teens interested in learning more about the Catholic faith begin Sunday, September 25, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., in the meeting room downstairs in Binsfeld Hall. The classes continue weekly until the Easter Vigil Mass (Saturday evening before Easter Sunday) and are FREE OF CHARGE. Catholics are welcome to attend to learn more about their faith and to prepare to receive sacraments of Initiation they might not have previously received. Some class members who are not Catholic may choose to be fully initiated into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil Mass. Registration and attendance at class occur throughout the year.
If you are unable to attend the Sunday classes, please call the religious education office at 847-888-2718 or email Deacon Hank at deaconhank@stmaryelgin.com to discuss your situation.
