Safe Drop-Off and Pick-Up from Tuesday REP
Drop-Off
All students should be in the lobby of school by 5:50 p.m. At 6:00 p.m. the door will be locked, and students will move to their classrooms. Any tardy students in grades 3-8 must buzz in to enter the building, stop at the office to get a tardy slip, and then may go to class. Tardy 1st and 2nd graders may go directly to their classroom.
Pick-Up
Children in the 1st and 2nd grades should be greeted by an adult at the classroom door at dismissal. They will not be permitted to walk alone to the parking lots or crosswalk.
As per the Elgin Police Department and posted signs, no one should ever park their car in front of the school. Violators risk being ticketed, and have been in the past. Please use the school or church parking lots. Also, please use the crosswalks to cross the street; never cross in the middle.
